TopStyle: A CSS style sheet validator. It finds syntax errors in your CSS style sheets. It finds invalid class names in your HTML. It finds orphaned (i.e. unused) styles. It has a colour chooser to help compose style sheets. The error messages it generates are much more useful than from other style checkers. It catches invalid font names. It found all kinds of errors other validators missed. It lets you know which styles are supported in which browser. It also has various tidying functions. I can't think of a program with a more polished user interface. Not only is it easy to use, it make CSS obvious. At every turn the author's concern for the user shows, e.g. putting font samples on the pulldown menus. I wish other programmers loved their users much a TopStyle's author, Nick Bradbury, does. Every programmer should buy TopStyle just to learn at the feet of a master UI designer.
On my 233 MHz machine, it is somewhat sluggish. I would definitely recommend a spiffier machine to run this program.
