PersonalJava: The full Business Java language with the enterprise communications stripped out of it (no remote RMI). It also has no security breakout. It still contains the AWT GUI, but not the enormous Swing of course. This is the Java you might see in a pocket organiser. It is now obsolete and has been replaced by J2ME.
