Oanda.com posts the exchange rates of the world's currencies each day. You can view today's exchange rates free in HTML, CSV or ASCII via their FxDaily service. I use it for the currcon currency displays you see throughout the site like this Applet to view the value of one euro in your native currency:

Their free FxHistory service lets you get data on what exchange rates were in the past. You can track the collapse of the US dollar, the rise of the Euro, or the price of gold.

Their free FxGraph service lets you plot charts of the values of various currencies over time. The page requires both Java and JavaScript. I could only get it to work with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0.2800 with the Java 1.4.2 Plug-in.

Their free Currency Converter lets you convert an amount in any currency to any other. You can't actually convert funds, just figure out what the equivalent amount is.

Their FXCommerce is a service that lets you display prices in different currencies on your website using their server and JavaScript. It competes with my product currcon.

Their FxGallery has pictures of currency.

They make their money by offering various currency exchange services added to your website.
