JGL: Java Generic Library from ObjectSpace It has an extensive collection of reusable data structures and algorithms, including sorting. It is fast, free, and has been licensed by many compiler vendors for inclusion in their products. Much of its functionality is now part of JDK 1.2, and thus it is less necessary.
