JavaPVM: JavaPVM is an interface written using the Java native method capability which allows Java applications to use the Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) software package for implementation of parallel programs and inter-process communication among networks of heterogeneous, single- and multi-processor workstations. Together, PVM and JavaPVM support inter-process communication among Java, C, C++, and FORTRAN programs.
