An electronic greeting card, often animated with music you send via email. The safer type give a URL to pick up the card. The dangerous type enclose an executable file, which potentially could contain a virus or trojan. The following notes are compliments of Geneva Hagen.

Blue Mountain	Wide selection of occasions. Now requires a paid membership and cookies enabled.
My Greetings	cartoons and animated gifs.
Women.com	Hallmark cards.
Hallmark	ecards, flowers and conventional paper cards. Classy animated designs with classical music too. Will remember lists of people you send cards to.
Video Greetings	Brief clips from Famous Home Videos. Needs QuickTime plugin.
I Am Lost	Insensitivity cards, e.g. "knew she was too old to have this baby".
Music Greetings	MP3 animated cards.
Earmail	Send MP3 clips from your favourite songs, no cards and no messages though.
LostBrain	The name says it all.
GayAll	Gay e-cards.
Post Card Maker	Give you lots of room for an extended message. Some clever naturalistic animations.
Nice Cards	Kitschy cartoons.
Grad Finder	You can also use you own uploaded photos in the ecards, or use pictures from albums submitted by grads of your school year. GradFinder to learn how to find fellow grads
Video Greetings	QuickTime or RealAudio short movies with sound as greeting cards.
