You can automate the process of detecting that your IP has changed and informing them. There is a HTTP GET protocol for informing DynDNS of IP changes and third party software. that implements it.
You have to update your IP monthly, even just to keep it the same, or your account will be canceled as inactive.
To your customers, you look like a perfectly ordinary website. There is nothing special they have to do to access you. The main catch is, you are restricted to using one of DynDNS's free names such as mindprod.dyndns.org for you domain name.
The disadvantage of doing this is you are advertising your home IP to hackers which makes you more likely to be attacked.
