DUN
Dial Up Networking. Microsoft's term for the software in Windows 95 that attaches a PC to the Internet via a dial up SLIP or PPP link. By default, the Windows dialer behaves idiotically spawning either none, or duplicate copies of itself which interfere with each other and disconnect the session. There are three solutions,
  1. Dump Microsoft.
  2. get an ADSL or cable 24-hour connection.
  3. get Dunce.
