You are here : home : Java Glossary : A words : atomic clock.

atomic clock
There are a set of very accurate atomic clocks on the web. Some are super accurate primarily to set other master clocks. You can set you computer's clock accurately with a free program from WordTimeServer.com. If your clock rarely needs adjustment, there is no need to let the program run continuously. The master clocks communicate using NTP.

setclockSetClock is a Java Web Start program that sets your clock correctly by synching with an atomic clock on the web.
